2018 Style Coalition NYFW Lounge by Launchmetrics
GPS Radar Team,
Last Friday and Saturday, our team hosted the Style Coalition NYFW Lounge in partnership with eBayFashion. We welcomed over 150 key influencers, media, and fashion insiders, including guests from WWD, Glossy, Condé Nast and top influencers like Ellen V Lora and Stephanie Hill. Together, we invited our guests to celebrate the start of another exciting season of New York Fashion Week while we provided exclusive services and treats for them to enjoy between their busy show schedule.
Upon arrival, we greeted guests with delicious custom cocktails including the refreshing Velvet Buck and violet-colored Avion Cooler. The beautiful, all-day bar, was embellished with blooming flowers and copper barware provided by our liquor partners Avion Tequila and Absolut Elyx.
Sugar Monster created their very own pastel-themed dessert shop. The model-turned-pastry chef, Ashley Holt, created extremely Instagram-worthy sweets including bite-sized cupcakes with chocolate chips that had “NYFW” and “eBayFashion” written on them, lip-shaped and martini glass sugar cookies, and sprinkle-covered rainbow cakes for guests to enjoy. Even if you don’t typically have a sweet tooth, you’d be tempted to take a bite!
To make sure our guests were glammed for their next show, our team also partnered with Glamsquad to create a beauty salon. The Glamsquad team offered professional beauty services for the guests to get their nails painted, makeup retouched, and also have their hair perfectly styled. With several different looks to choose from, the stylists made sure that the guests were dolled-up before their next show.
Our title partner, eBayFashion joined in the festivity and created their very own living room space within the lounge. Inspired by the Patone Color of the Year, Ultra Violet, the eBayFashion team hand picked and decorated the living room with some of the trendiest violet-colored handbags, shoes, and accessories. With a professional photographer on-site, the living room served as a perfect location for influencers and fashion insiders to relax and create original content.
Apart from these activations, the Launchmetrics team also created a candy bar, a flower shop, and a giant NYFW hashtag, giving guests other beautiful, yet fun and photogenic backdrops for their content creation process. To end the whole lounge experience, guests received a special gift bag filled with products from Givenchy Beauty, Guerlain, Prescriptives, Skin & Co., CATRICE, L.O.V., RoC, and Procosmet Italy.
