Piece of the Week: The “Push My Buttons” clutch by Jérôme Dreyfuss
Jérôme Dreyfuss has created the perfect Christmas present for women who want to stay connected while still looking chic. The designer is launching in December a collection of clutches that cleverly charge your smartphone on the go.
Cheekily called “Push My Buttons” the clutch, which comes in gold, black leather and fire engine red suede, has been embedded with a micronized wireless (electromagnetic free) charger. All a globetrotting girl has to do is place their cell phone on the clutch or tuck it inside …and voilà… their single most important accessory is getting a battery boost.
This isn’t the first time that Dreyfuss has paired form and function. He already garnered some buzz for his “Turn Me On” leather wrapped portable designer battery. But this new clutch takes the idea to the next level.
Each clutch comes with a case that includes an electromagnetic induction film, even though certain phones like the Samsung and the Iphone 8,8+ and X, already have a film built into their design. It also comes with a USB cable to charge the clutch and an cotton Jérome Dreyfuss dust bag.
The clutch clocks in at 295€ so start saving up now.
